The secrets of the Galleria

Guided Tour - Time

Discover the history of the city with our licensed guides, specialized in the HIGHLINE route.

A journey through the birth of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, filled with curiosities and details about its incredible history.

Guide Tour is in Italian

Quick Information

HIGHLINE has limited capacity, so we recommend booking online by selecting your date and time to secure your spot.

Tickets can also be purchased on site during opening hours only, with no service fees and subject to availability.

On high-attendance days, access without a reservation cannot be guaranteed.

The entrance is located inside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, at street number 11/12, in the entrance atrium on the Piazza della Scala side. The visit begins on the 6th floor of the building.

The information desk and ticket office are located on the ground floor and are available only during public opening hours.

The 6th floor can be reached either by public elevator or by stairs. Please note that mandatory stairways are present along the route.

You will find more than 50 informational panels dedicated to history and the skyline, and you will be guided by our narrative audio guide. Along the route, you can photograph numerous installations, plants, panoramic seating areas, the neon artworks by Insulti Luminosi, and the SkyPlaces by Letizia Prestipino. All shots worth collecting!

The experience also includes a panoramic glass elevator, a large historic hall set up as an art exhibition, and a breathtaking panoramic terrace.

Our audio guide is free for everyone. All you need is a smartphone with an internet connection and your own headphones.

An original narrative story, written by two screenwriters, will guide you through the most surprising curiosities and anecdotes of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. A story to experience step by step.

Part of the experience takes place outdoors, on the 6th floor, along a grated walkway with stairs and overlooks onto highly frequented areas. For this reason, it is important to follow a few rules:

  • High heels are not permitted;
  • Animals are not allowed;
  • Bulky items are not permitted;
  • Appropriate clothing is required;
  • Please follow staff instructions;
  • Any behavior that disturbs visitors or compromises safety is prohibited;
  • Management reserves the right to deny access or remove anyone who does not comply with these rules.

ARTSPACE

“Guardare fino al cielo”

HIGHLINE presents an installation by Stefano Cozzi, Letizia Prestipino and Giovanni Zof, curated by Carla Gerbino and Flavio Di Renzo, inviting visitors to look beyond what first meets the eye.

In the Sala degli Orologi, painting, video and music come together in a journey through images that slowly reveal themselves, unfolding through details, layers and fragments of memory.

An experience to be explored without haste, allowing yourself to be surprised by what the eye discovers over time.
