About us
“We shine a new light on the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, telling its story with an innovative, irreverent, and contemporary voice.”

Across approximately 16,150 square feet between Piazza della Scala and Piazza Duomo, HIGHLINE is a new cultural and tourist hub suspended above the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
A 820-foot route, rising about 130 feet above ground, runs alongside the Galleria’s iron and glass vaults, leading to the historic Sala degli Orologi and to a panoramic terrace overlooking the Duomo, opened to the public for the very first time.
The project enhances one of the world’s most iconic monuments, transforming it into a vibrant space dedicated to culture, art, events, and new forms of dialogue between history and the future.
Sustainability
Along the SKYWALK, plants, shrubs, and green furnishings are integrated to enhance the microclimate and support the local habitat. Solar panels are installed on the CLOUDS, the first ever placed on a historic monument in Milan, with a capacity of 12 kW.
Territoriality
We collaborate with companies, artisans, and artists working in Italy, paying tribute to the country’s traditions. We champion local talent, supporting contemporary creativity while fostering innovation, dialogue, and new perspectives.
New Generations
A young, dynamic, and future-oriented reality. A project that reinterprets the way a monument is experienced through a contemporary lens, embracing an avant-garde vision that imagines new ways of living and engaging with the city.

HIGHLINErs
Hi! We are the HIGHLINErs, the team behind the project. Our goal is to imagine new ways of experiencing Italy’s historic heritage.
Our approach goes beyond preservation alone. We work to generate value by transforming monuments into places where history and contemporaneity meet, and where cultural heritage becomes a living, shared, and truly accessible resource.
Matteo Occhipinti, Head of Creativity, leads the cultural identity and overall experience; Franck Pascal oversees the economic vision and administrative organization. Camilla Rivieri, General Manager, coordinates daily operations, while Flavio Di Renzo, Art Director and Curator, shapes the exhibitions and cultural content.
Alongside us is a team of very young professionals who manage every aspect of the operation, from communication and visitor services to events and relationships with tour operators.
